(Berlin) From 31st January to 2nd February 2018, at the Maritim proArte Hotel in Berlin, corporate lawyers from a wide variety of industries met to discuss the latest developments in legal technology, compliance, digitalisation and globalisation, to exchange experiences from everyday working life and to develop new concepts and ideas. As a long-standing partner of the BUJ (the German Federal Association of Corporate Lawyers), The Quality Group was once again represented at this year's event with a trade fair stand featuring the latest trends and developments in the field of legal technology and smart working in these times of digital transformation.

A presentation was given by Barbara Baurichter, Head of Legal & HR at AFS Aviation Fuel Services GmbH and Steffen Schaar, member of the management board at TQG, with the title, "Legal Tech - implementation can be as easy as that! Contract management for the small legal department in only three months". The talk provided expert insights into the practical implementation of a Legal Tech project. Here, the problems of the classic contract file, the advantages of an electronic contract management system, as well as general project topics, success factors during the introduction, as well as the typical concerns of the users were explained and discussed.
